Estonian Air cuts over to new IT platform

This weekend, on 3 and 4 May, Estonian Air ticket offices, online booking environment and web page will be cutting over to Amadeus IT platform. Due to that Estonian Air web page will not be available for two days; booking and selling of tickets will face disturbances in all channels – internet, travel agencies, and Estonian Air ticket offices and call centre.

Estonian Air apologizes beforehand for any inconvenience the situation may cause, and kindly requests all our customers to book their travels either before 3 May or after 4 May.

Cutover to the new IT platform starts on 2 May at 23.59. The system change does not affect check-in or flight operations. New web page and booking environment will be available for our customers on 5 May.

The new IT platform will enable Estonian Air to provide more advanced and convenient services, for instance e-ticket. Check-in with e-ticket will be considerably easier and smoother.

Amadeus IT platform will make it possible to purchase on Estonian Air web site, in addition to Estonian Air network, also connecting flights throughout Europe with our partner airlines. This makes travel planning and ticket purchasing much less complicated.

The new Estonian Air web page will also feature a blog where the employees of the airline will share information and thoughts about the company, aviation in general, and travelling.

Estonian Air will continue to modernize and develop the customer service during the coming months. In the summer we are going to launch internet check-in and check-in kiosks.
