Ryanair Announces New Route From Knock to Liverpool
Ryanair, Ireland’s national airline, today (Thursday, 19th June 2008) announced a new daily route from Ireland West Knock Airport to Liverpool – commencing on 27th October 2008.
Annette Kearney, Marketing and Route Development Manager at Ireland West Airport Knock said:
“The addition of this direct daily route from Liverpool to Ireland West Knock with Ryanair is another significant step in our Airport’s growth as we continue to provide an ever-widening choice of great value, direct and convenient jet flights to our customers both in the UK and in Ireland. This new route further expands our network of scheduled jet flight services from key UK destinations to the West and North West of Ireland . We look forward to welcoming visitors from Britain’s North West and I’m sure the Liverpool region will equally benefit from a boost of Irish leisure and business travelers, especially from the thousands of Liverpool FC and Everton supporters in our catchments!”
Speaking today, Ryanair’s Bridget Dowling said:
“Ryanair is committed to delivering the lowest fares guaranteed, and this new route to Liverpool means that passengers will have an additional link to the UK from the West of Ireland. The new service will operate on a daily basis from 27th October and will bring an additional 100,000 passengers p.a. through the airport. We’re confident that the new route to Liverpool will prove just as successful as our existing routes to Bristol, East Midlands, London (Luton) and London (Stansted).

Ryanair Announces 3 New Routes From Shannon
Ryanair, Ireland’s national airline, today (Thursday, 19th June 2008) announced that it will launch 3 new routes from Shannon to Gdansk, Katowice and Lodz, from November 2008. Ryanair’s 33 Shannon routes will deliver over 2 million passengers p.a. to the Mid-West, while supporting more than 2,000 jobs in the region.
Speaking today, Ryanair’s Bridget Dowling said:
“Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares to passengers in the Mid-West, and these 3 new routes to Gdansk, Katowice and Lodz will provide passengers in the Mid-West with even greater choice. The new services to Poland which will operate on a twice weekly basis will deliver an additional 90,000 passengers p.a. creating almost 100 jobs in the region.
