CEO statement: "We started Cebu Pacific with the vision of making flying more affordable to more Filipinos, and making the country’s travel and tourism industry even more dynamic. We are apparently moving in the right direction. Last year, Cebu Pacific flew 6.7 million passengers — up 23% from 5.5 million the previous year — making us the fastest-growing airline in Asia and the third largest low-cost carrier in the region. This year, we expect to carry close to 9 million passengers.
